近来，一段阿塞拜疆总统在采访中回怼BBC记者的片段火了。

上一年11月6日，BBC记者尤拉·盖兰采访阿塞拜疆总统阿利耶夫（Ilham Aliyev）时称，阿塞拜疆人没有新闻自由。阿利耶夫否认了这一说法，并说明晰阿塞拜疆新闻和言论自由的状况。
他随后反诘记者，怎么点评英国拘捕阿桑奇的工作，这是不是反映了英国的新闻自由？
（How do you assess what happened to Mr Assange? Isn’t it a reflection of free media in your country?）
他接下来的话十分精彩：
你们由于新闻活动就把阿桑奇关押起来，其实是从品德和肉体两方面杀死了他。这是你们干的，不是咱们。
（For journalistic activity, you kept that person hostage, actually killing him morally and physically. You did it, not us.）
所以你们做出这种事，在品德上就没有权力来议论新闻自由。
（So you have no moral right to talk about free media when you do these things.）
记者答复不出，只能提议回到一开始评论的论题。
但阿利耶夫持续说：
由于这不是你喜爱的论题，你只喜爱责备、进犯他人。来经验咱们之前，先照照镜子吧。你那底子不是问题，是责备。你的口气像是检察官。
（Because this is not what you like. You like only to accuse, only to attack, but look at the mirror before coming and lecturing us. It's not a question. It's an accusation. You talk like a prosecutor. ）
